Get Ready For Some of the Wildest Markets You Will Ever See
Thoughts on the Market by Andy Krieger

We are fast approaching a serious inflection point in various markets. I have warned for many weeks that we have serious bubble-like conditions in multiple markets, and I have strongly urged you to start aggressively hedging your equity exposure. The equity bubble we are in is the largest artificial bubble in history, fueled heavily by tens of trillions of dollars in debt our government has borrowed and further supported by a very accommodative Federal Reserve Board. More specifically, our political leaders have borrowed and spent over $30 trillion US Dollars since the Great Financial Crisis because they know that they have a much better chance of staying in power if the economy looks pretty good. The kindest way to describe this utter lack of fiscal discipline is to call it grotesquely irresponsible.
The Federal Reserve has been totally complicit in this strategy by printing trillions of dollars to further fuel the illusion of prosperity. They have absolutely shirked their responsibility to maintain stable prices, keeping financial conditions way too loose for far too long. Our current Fed chairman loves to talk tough, but like most of his predecessors, his tough talk is enforced by a flimsy, tiny stick.
If you think this is hyperbole, take a look at how well the Fed has preserved the value of the dollar since it took the reins in 1914.
