Trump 2.0: Markets, Policies, and the Road Ahead

This past week was particularly interesting as it seems the markets are slowly getting accustomed to the fact that many changes will take place with the Trump presidency.  Whatever you might think about President-elect Trump and his policies, there is no doubt that his second round as President will be highly consequential.  Please note that consequential doesn’t imply positive or negative.  Rather, it simply means that Trump 2.0 will have a major impact on the global economy and the markets. Prior to discussing the markets, however, I want to first share some thoughts on how I expect things to be different, as my market forecasts are closely intertwined with the policy changes that I am expecting.
